Journeys · Fora Travel Advisor

A travel advisor who actually gets it.

Travel advisors feel like something our parents did. Start with a room, or hand me the whole trip.

Coming to Milwaukee for the Series? I'll book the room and meet you for coffee. Start with a room, or hand me the whole trip.

Planned by a queer, neurodivergent advisor who thinks about the details so you don't have to.

Think of me as the perfect mullet: I know which angle your trip needs, business up front or party in back, and it looks good from a distance. Up close, it takes me three passes to get it right. That's the job.

A hand opening a hotel room door onto warm light The easy way in

Just the hotel.

What you get: tell me where and your budget. I send three rooms inside it: an Ember (budget), a Slow Burn (comfort) and a Bonfire (splurge), each with its perks, plus an Eat, Drink, Do card for where you're staying. You pick, I book.

Why me: the cheapest room rarely gets you the best trip. I book through the Fora Travel portal, so you get perks and experiences you can't get booking direct.

No planning fee

Fall color on a Wisconsin lake at sunset The whole trip

A trip, planned for you.

What you get: the itinerary, day by day: where to sleep, what to do, where to eat, how to get there. Booking links, per-person costs and a clear next step. It includes a complimentary 30-minute Burn Session.

Why me: an itinerary built around how you actually travel, by someone who has done the homework. One round of changes, then I book it with you.

What does a travel advisor even do?

Finds the right room

Not the cheapest. The one that makes the rest of your trip better, in the neighborhood you'll want to walk.

Gets you the perks

Upgrades, credits and extras I can reach through my advisor access. They vary by property, and you never pay more for them.

Plans the rest, if you want

Eat, Drink, Do for your location, or the whole itinerary. Stuck on everything? Let me help.

What you get

The itinerary

Day by day, with booking links, per-person costs and a clear next step.

The plan behind it

Why this place, this week, this hotel. Fierce kindness, not Midwest nice.

Something you can hold

Print and delivery are a paid add-on, never a surprise.

Wisconsin travel, planned by someone who knows it

Driftless excursions, state park camping and glamping, Main Street weekends, Door County, off-highway road trips and Northwoods escapes. Fifteen years of knowing which exit to take.

A train window onto Wisconsin farm fields and a tree line

Driftless excursions

Where the glaciers never went: hidden valleys, spring creeks and a river snaking through them.

A dirt path through dune grass toward pines on the Lake Superior shore, Amnicon Falls area

Camping and glamping

The right park for the season, the campsite worth booking, and group camp getaways for work retreats and friend trips.

A red brick storefront and a street lamp on a small-town corner

Main Street experiences

Small-town weekends: shops, supper clubs, a diner worth the drive and the bartender who tells you where to go next.

A red lighthouse at the end of a pier at dusk

Door County getaways

Past the fish boil: the quiet side of the peninsula.

Rows of glowing marquee bulbs

Off-highway road trips

A route built around the places the interstate skips.

Fall color on a Wisconsin lake at sunset

Northwoods escapes

Lakes, pines and a cabin with a woodstove.

Planning a state park weekend? Start there. Milwaukee on foot? Milwaukee weekends.

Solo travel

Going alone, not lonely

Room to wander, stays that feel welcoming, and a budget that is smart with the best taste. Key West is the proof.

Everything else

The rest of what I love

Milwaukee weekends on foot (the neighborhoods, the lake, eat like you live here), plus city weekends, urban nature and intermodal trips.

Quick answers
What does the $333 cover?

The thinking. A trip built around you, up to 7 nights: where to sleep, what to do, where to eat, and how to get from one to the next. It includes a complimentary 30-minute Burn Session to walk through the trip live, or save for a rainy day. Going longer? Up to 14 nights is $555, with a free 60-minute Burn Session.

Do we have to get on a call?

No. Send one trip request, by chat or form. I read it myself and reply within two business days with a yes, a not-yet, or a question.

When do I pay?

After I say yes. Then your itinerary lands within a week of the fee, with one round of changes.

Can you plan somewhere other than Wisconsin?

Yes. Milwaukee and Wisconsin are home turf, and I've camped every Wisconsin state park. I'll plan a trip anywhere that's safe and welcoming for you.

All the WTF?!

Not sure where to go?

Tell me when you can leave and what you're running from. I'll bring back three places.
